Convulsion when running the DDAVP-HTS protocol

If the protocol has just started before there is documented response (i.e. Na↑)

→ treat as hypoNa induced convulsion → give bolus HTS / 8.4% bicarb

If the protocol has run for some time with Na ↑trend

→ convulsion is unlikely to be due to hypoNa if Na rises ≥4mmol/L

→ r/o other cause e.g. hypoglycaemia, intracranial catastrophe
